Of Others consists of a series of portraits of three artists, who I have paid to allow me to follow them as they go about their daily routines. Filmed in Berlin, each of the characters appears somewhat out of place in the way they 'act' everyday rituals and navigate their own domestic spaces which they ultimately only temporarily inhabit.

Presented with the 3 portraits is a text conversation (a forth portrait) with another character whom I attempted to negotiate to work with.The text is taken from a fervent dialogue which documents a failed negotiation between artist and performer and my attempt to justify my own working process.
